Evaluating and understanding the difficulties of women in managerial and entrepreneurial positions in Pakistan is not just about leadership, it is also about mental health. We must follow the eminent power aphorism ‘Women with power empower women’. It is not just about women are coming up with new business ideas, but it is about empowering women and making them stronger from within.

Entrepreneurship education is a most effective means of teaching more than business acumen; it empowers, diminishes apprehension, and instills hope. Women need to gain control through understanding methods of how to take risks and get opportunities. One quote of Tori Murden McClure goes like this: You don’t have to be fearless, just don’t let fear stop you. This perfectly captures the mindset that entrepreneurial education instills in women: they can tackle the challenges without consideration of the resources they have at their disposal now.

The present research, carried out at PMAS Arid Agriculture University, examines the linkages between women’s leadership, entrepreneurship education and training, and mental health. The programme was named programme for ambitious women and it was designed to target specifically social science students with a view of awakening their entrepreneurial talent and leadership spirit. It also positively impacted mental health since it fostered self-employment and business leadership to diminish precisely self-skepticism.

In the next three weeks, females were given an overview of the key concepts of entrepreneurial leadership. During practice, something rather significant occurred: learners recognised that, in the process of studying business approaches, they were developing strong psychological profiles. “It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen,” as Scott Belsky once said, and this could not have been more true to the students who graduated the program with confidence in leadership.

media page

join our WhatsApp channel

Mental Health and Women Entrepreneurs: Navigating the Journey

Women business owners in today’s society have to cope with a number of issues in business, some of which may cause them to experience the emotional and mental problems. While being an entrepreneur, a parent, and support figure in one’s community results in higher stress levels and the prospect of experiencing burnout. It is therefore significant for women who need to succeed in their business to embrace the need to have a good mental health.

There are cases that women business proprietors have the tendency to be asked to prove their worth in a dominantly male field. This pressure erodes the clients’ self-esteem and causes anxiety, hence unhealthy Mental Health. Multiple studies also showed that women have higher rates of anxiety and depression than men and are much more prevalent with work-family conflict. For this reason, the principles of mental health must be incorporated into first place in order to create long-term success.

Development of a woman’s network could be the turning point for women entrepreneurs. Compromising to similar people creates a perception of unity and unity. This support system may offer a lift up, possibly offer references to similar struggles and can give that much-needed advice about regular issues. There are so many ways women can meet and help each other, including through networking sessions, mentorship and through online forums.

Also, it is crucial to determine the limits of work and office, or work-life balance. Female business owners should schedule time for exercise, prayer or whatever she likes to do that will help her relax. These practices assist in demoralizing stress and purging confusion, for instance, focused meditation. It’s also important to learn how to set achievable goals, and set limits to avoid feeling overwhelmed, burnt out.

In addition, one should not hesitate to get professional assistance when they need it. It is often useful for therapists and counselors to talk to people and offer useful tips and techniques in response to daily stressors and ways of handling those stressors.

So, it can be stated that women entrepreneurs should pay much attention to their mental health. When engaging in activated, which involves building support structures, setting boundaries as well as taking care of themselves, women can strike a balance, hence being able to nurture women’s entrepreneurship and the women’s health.

media page

join our WhatsApp channel

Running a business, managing a family, and staying healthy can feel overwhelming. But two key qualities help women balance work and health: time management and resilience.

1. Time Management

Time management is a must for any entrepreneur. With so many tasks and responsibilities, it’s easy to get caught up in work and neglect health. Women entrepreneurs need to plan their day carefully. Using tools like calendars, to-do lists, and apps helps them stay organized. Scheduling tasks not only keeps the business running smoothly but also creates space for personal health.

Successful entrepreneurs set clear boundaries. They know when to stop working and take a break. This includes making time for exercise, meals, and rest. By setting aside time for self-care, they stay focused and productive throughout the day.

2. Resilience

Resilience means staying strong in the face of challenges. The road to success isn’t always smooth, and setbacks are part of the journey. But resilient women know how to keep going. They bounce back quickly from failure and learn from their mistakes.

To build resilience, women need healthy habits. Regular exercise, good nutrition, and enough sleep help them manage stress. Meditation or mindfulness can also support emotional well-being. Surrounding themselves with a supportive network—mentors, friends, or colleagues—can give them strength when times get tough.

In short, time management and resilience are the two most important qualities for women entrepreneurs. By mastering these, they can balance their work and health, stay strong in difficult times, and lead a successful and fulfilling life.

media page

join our WhatsApp channel

Effects of Work to Family Interface on the Psychological Well being of Women

With the increasing pass through pace at which individuals progress in their careers, it’s difficult to strike a balance between family and work, and this is even more complicated for the woman who is most of the time thrown into different responsibilities. Well, here is how this struggle affects on their mental well-being. Here are the concepts. Let’s consider them more closely.

Striking a Balance: The Reality Check

Modern women are vulnerable to getting burned out than men. For instance, Deloitte’s Global Women in the Workplace indicated that 53% of women allowed that they experienced increased levels of stress while at work compared to previous years. Often, work-life conflict is inevitable since one is always torn between attending to work as well as personal chores. Further, according to the survey conducted by the American Psychological Association, working women were seen to be lesser satisfied with their jobs because of a lack of proper work-life conflict balance.

The Mental Health Equation

Work-life balance is important for wellbeing as the following questions seek to find out. Working stress, when people are under pressure for time to rest and relax, can cause anxiety and depression. Chronic stress at the workplace, if not managed, leads to one experiencing severe mental health challenges, according to the World Health Organization. Can focusing on mental health be the strategy that will help us extricate from this vicious circle?

Strategies for Improvement

Employers are a central factor in this equation. A more flexible schedule also helps in the promotion of a healthier place for working and generates less turnover and higher satisfaction. Female employees should demand their workplaces be as supportive as possible, as far as stress management is concerned.

Call to Action

Is it now the moment for what amounts to a reconsideration of success? The idea of liberation existing as a path to happiness should not be a path toward mental illness for women. To quote Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg again, one can have it all, but he/she cannot do it all. It is time to create a version of the world where work-life balance is not something that only a few have the luxury of achieving, but is a norm that can improve, or even revolutionize people’s lives.

Last but not the least, work-life balance has become the buzzword, which is pivotal for the health of mind of all the women in the world. That is why its acknowledgment and attempt to reach it will help to build a brighter and more satisfying future in work and personal life.

media page

join our WhatsApp channel

Entrepreneurship is a challenging path, and for women of color, the journey can be even more difficult. However, despite the obstacles, women of color entrepreneurs are breaking barriers and achieving remarkable success. In this article, we’ll explore some of the challenges faced by women of color entrepreneurs and how they’re overcoming them.

Challenges Faced by Women of Color Entrepreneurs

Lack of Representation

Women of color are often underrepresented in the business world, which can make it difficult to find mentors or role models who understand their unique experiences. Without representation, women of color entrepreneurs may struggle to find support and resources to help them succeed.

Access to Capital

Access to capital is a significant challenge for many entrepreneurs, but it can be particularly challenging for women of color. Women of color are often denied loans or face higher interest rates than their white counterparts. This can make it difficult to start or grow a business, particularly if they are relying on personal savings or investments.

Bias and Discrimination

Unfortunately, bias and discrimination are still prevalent in many industries, including entrepreneurship. Women of color entrepreneurs may face additional barriers, such as assumptions about their competence or lack of access to networks and opportunities.

How Women of Color Entrepreneurs are Overcoming these Challenges

Building Networks and Communities

Women of color entrepreneurs are building their own networks and communities to support each other.
